Labrador summer 2008 info

A small group of close friends are planning a trip up from Florida. We will have 2 built Tacomas an Fj40 a Defender 110 a built SAS 2006 Chevy 2500 duramax and a Jeep tj w Campa Trailer. We are experienced in long trips like Baja, Guatemala, western U.S. trails, Alaska etc.

We are planning 2 weeks once we leave Quebec to get around to Maine. We are looking for info on trails, things to do, etc. We want to run decent trails but nothing extreme. Maybe do some fishing, paddling etc. I know there are alot of Logging roads etc so any advise on good maps etc. Any one running the Map creat software for the area. # rigs run the Lowrance baja 480 units but we are unsure how much is actually on those cards.

If it helps "Snowgoer" magazine just did a write up on snowmobile trips to Labrador. www.destinationlabrador.com or www.labradorwintertrails.com. Small bit of info but more contact info in those pages. That certainly sounds like a fun trip. I assume the TJ is Chris from Campa trailers. After meeting him on the Kokopelli trip I'd think any trip would be a good time.
