Cool SoCal: Hungry Valley SRVA

I and a fellow FJC'er went to Hungry Valley SVRA last Saturday. We were there for half a day but enjoyed every minute of it.

Here is the highlight video of the run.

High Definition on VIMEO (you need to watch it the second time in case your download was choppy):

Here is our GPS trail:

Looks like you're almost ready to do the miller jeep trail.

it's a fun place to spend a day.
The trails, practice area, camping on the spot, mountain roads and trails nearby, place to get the kids to drive, etc make it a nice combo.

My Black Cherry FJ Cruiser has no lift. I was told to stay out of Miller until I lift :(

Not true,

I have run it stock (fj40 30X9.5 AT, 3 on the tree, no lift, i did scrap my running board), also since the fires went through there it has gotten super easy. I was there in may and we saw a stock LR Disco up there w/paper plates still on it(read off the dealer lot).

if you want to go up there i am more than willing to lead a run, post in either the la trail crew section or the Socal 80 section and it will happen

all the best
Ian

You don't need no stinking lift, just sliders and make sure you go with someone.
You can drive around hungry valley all day and not really do any serious wheeling, miller jeep trail is much more fun and it dumps you off in hungry valley.
I went in my buddies f.j. and we had a blast. It is a burnt away so you won't get any scraches.
Are you going to check out the al pro jamboree?
