Went on a FJCruiser trail climb with the 60.

Went with this group: http://nwfjcc.com/

I got quite a bit of praise on "ye ol iron" commenting on it's articulation and raw capability, had a great time. Here are the pix:

I remember seeing Fire Break 5 on one of the signs but we went on probably 12-15 total trails (long but fun day).

This was my second time out with these guys, all very nice, friendly and helpful

I'll try! All of their runs are open as long as you sign a waiver. I just hit this site from time to time:

That capability isn't "raw". It's OEM when you drive a Land Cruiser. It isn't even all that old. I'm still daily driving one. I'm thinking the FJCs are a great addition to our little universe.

Looks like good times.

who owns the dune biege FJC? I saw it in pdx over Thanksgiving. I had to stop and take pictures of it. It's a nice little shout out to the old school. If I ever own an FJC, I'll be repainting a classic 40 color - Mustard, anyone?

I can't remember his name, maybe "Pete" the trucks paint is called sandstorm or something... If you go on http://www.fjcruiserforums.com look up i2oadi2unnei2 and thats him - he actually lives in Hillsboro, OR (so do I).

I've been meaning to come hang out. I'm building a daily driver right now or I'd come out this weekend.
