November run at Deer Valley, Ca
We decided at the last minute to take advantage of the nice weather and head up for a little run in the Valley of the Deer to close out the season. That is if we ever get snow rain. . .
The dudes ready to roll ![]() I was surprised to see a few changes since the fj45 run, such as filling the pit with a bunch of wood. ![]() Down at the second water crossing from the hwy 88 side. ![]() On the way out to hwy 4 ![]() Stopping for some lunch. . . ![]() Finally reaching hwy 4 at dark. . . ![]() Overall I would have to say that the trail has been pretty chewed up and in poor, (fun) condition. There was zero snow on the trail which was a bit unexpected due to the storm last weekend, but it was pretty wet and muddy. Dylan

How did your mega-length rear springs do?

So, was it harder, or easier?

i was just "inland" from you, I only came in for Saturday- arrived around 4 am, left for home around 3 pm... Talked to your dad I think for a couple of seconds. Maybe next year, or I'm pretty sure we'll be at CM '08 this year if you're going... __________________ no cruiser right now :( 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo defender of the good, mo-fessional drunk, total art-fag, and all around nice guy... |

I would say it was harder. The downhill section going to down to hwy 4 was pretty washed out and seemed more off camber in a few spots.
