S&T kid stuff... 11-2-07

I was thinking it would be nice to circle (half circle) the wagons on the shoreline to make a nice enclosure, and let the kids loose.

I would like to do this on friday (kid events already planned for sat)
OK: the plan is to kick this off 12:30 pm dead west of the mob , and let er rip

See ya there

ken

It's funny, but a gal at work is going to SnT with her husband for the first time and they have 2 small kids. She asked me about it, and all I could say was to keep them on a leash. The down side of all those big trucks, wide open sand and speed, is significant danger to small kids who just don't think about what they are doing. Ken, I think your idea is a great one, to assure the kids can play, but won't get run over. I don't have any small kids, but I'm happy to contribute my cruiser if you need more blocking vehicles.

If much of the of the Southern Section of the beach is closed off to keep vehicles out of nest bird habitat as they do seasonally, you should just go to that section its not to far from camp and vehicle free beach

Thats a good idea. Maybe a sand castle starting with a couple of cruisers.

We'll have the "main camp" area taped off and vehicle free. It was popular with the kids last year.

The SNT sign post is a good meeting spot.
