Im in.

Who else is signed up?

I've been to the park twice now - there's a great variety of trails for all types of trucks. www.flatnasty.net

September 20th-23rd should be a great time of year to be outside.

Look forward to seeing everyone!

I'm in and already signed up! Last year was a blast and looking forward to seeing everyone again. Its my understanding that they have widened a few of the trails to be more 80 friendly! Even if not, its still a good time.

Yes - they widened a few trouble spots and also lengthened a few trails.

Oh, now you tell me. And I wasted my vacation time on Italy and Greece.

It was a great time and the trees being so close were the only thing that bothered me, that and the dents I got, but other 80's came through unscathed.

If they widned the trails, it will be a kick ass event. sorry I missed it.

What was the name of the trail we went on that was Black rated that went through the river bed with lots of rocks, that was a blast.

The one right off the camp ground the starts out with a nice uphill in the loose dirt...... Wasn't that the body damage of the day for you sir? It was either 13 ( A Few Dollars More) or 15 (Watch This) and IIRC it was 15.

Vacation (cough, cough).... who needs (sneeze) vacation (cough) when you have (sneeze) sick leave?

the one right off the campground was tough and uphill and when you get to the top there was no where to go but between two trees that were not as wide as an 80.

I was talking about the black trail that has an entrance near the Flat Nasty entrance and goes by that trail they give you a prize if you can make. Nothing but big rocks there and that didn't bother me. That was my favorite trail there.

This is the exit to it

It's funny that almost all the body damage I have ever had has been the result of trees. The only exception has been exhaust pipe "modifications" and drive shaft scaring on rocks.

I was riding with Ken that day. As soon as the rocks started wreaking having on the passenger side, I got the "you need to get your big ass out" look.
Good times

Buck Buchanan

Again, sorry I can't make it this year. Just too close to the due date for the wifey to feel comfortable with me being gone for four days.

I had a lot of fun riding with you and woody on that trail. I went back a few months ago and ran it. I gave her hell trying to climb the $ hill. No dice. The surface is way loose.

No Buck, that was a different trail. The river bed was fun and you didn't come with us. It was Robbie, Woody, Moj and me driving along with Tim Nakari, Matt Farr and a few other riders.

I gave you that look on the trail below that was day 2 after coming back to camp and had a few beers and nakman said lets go try this trail right here, looks easy

See Buck, your in both pictures.

You get to the top and two trees that when measured are about an inch shorter than they need to be to grease an 80 through it

Please register as soon as possible so we can get the t-shirt order in. Also let us know how many young'uns you're bringing and their ages so we can get the kids raffle covered.

Thanks,
Mike

Looks like there was an accident on the $ hill there this past weekend.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=610532

That hill may no longer be open, which would be a shame, but then again, I can see that it would be a touchy subject..

I still hope to attend this month.

We have been in touch with them but at this time it appears unlikely they'll be represented at our event.

Just to let everyone know, we aren't raffling off a winch this year.

We will, however, be raffling off an ARB fridge.

That is all.

Do you have to be a member of TLCA in order to attend this event? I was just curious because TLCA membership wasn't required for last weekend's Tall Corn Cruiser Classic.

Yep. We are a sanctioned TLCA event - TLCA # is required to attend.

I suspect TC was a TLCA "Open Event" versus a "Sanctioned Event".

The park is however open to the public and you are welcome to come out and wheel with us.

Is it too late to register for this?

Also, can I register for a TLCA membership right now so that I can register for this event?

I went to the Tall Corn Cruiser Classic last weekend with my boyfriend, it was our first event and we LOVED it!!! Someone told us about this event and we'd love to be able to go.

I believe the deadline is the 12th, register here .. http://forum.ih8mud.com/ks-mo-tornado-alley-cruisers/152718-get-flat-nasty-tac-2007-online-registration.html

Pretty sure you can also submit TLCA membership, your number would just be pending in your Flat Nasty registration. Double check with DuManchu in the link, or hopefully someone will reply here.

Hope to see ya both.
