Hoosier Hoedown and IH8MUD Midwest Summer Picnic Sept 21~23

Hey gang,
We're having our annual wheelin event again this year.
The dates are from September 21, 22,23.
The location is Badlands Offroad Park in Attica, IN. www.badlandsoffroad.com
The camping will be at Summers Carroll Campground. Summers is beer friendly and the group will plan on being in the primative camping area.

SUMMERS-CARROLL
5509N 200E
Attica, IN 47918
Phone 1:765-762-2832
Lat: 40.236457 Lon: -87.224262

Saturday Night will be a pitch-in style dinner. We are asking just for a small donation to help out with the food. Additionally, we are trying to get a pig for a pig roast that night. This is still up in the air right now. If and when it gets firmed up, I'll update the thread.

Additionally, we are planning on having a member of the FJ Trail Team at the event.

Thanks and we hope to see ya there.

Jimmy

I'm there too. I am also beer-friendly so I will be at Sommers too.

You can not have my pig to roast.

Count me in, and I'm thinking I'll actually be able to stay till Monday AM...
I may be bringing a couple Tall Corn Cruisers with me.

Do I have to call and make reservations at the campground?

I'm thinking about going but I don't think I'll be able to trailer my 40.... I just bought a fj cruiser...stock right now...anybody think a stock fJ cruiser will be safe? I'm sure you guys who are reading this are heckling to yourselves thinking "sure bring that thing, you won't crack it up! Anyway I haven't had the pleasure of the badlands yet...not sure what to expect!!

Last year we had a couple stock FJC that had a great time without a scratch. The great thing about the Badlands is that there is real wheeling for all levels. We want everyone to have a good time and enjoy themselves.

I can/would like to be there friday and get some wheeling in. Or atleast be there for some Prime rib.

BTW woody, Jeff? (Hotel Attica owner) asked where youve been all year! So cute. I filled him in. I also warned him that a bunch of Toyota hoodlums were going to take over his restaurant on Friday

I plan on setting up the base camp at Summers Carrol campground Friday mid-morning and will be waiting for everyone to roll in. I will definitely be up for wheeling Friday. If anyone needs to reach me during the weekend, my cell is 317-695-4577.

Clint

WeatherChannel says, extended forecast for next weekend in Attica.......highs in the mid 80's, lows in the upper 50's and 10% chance of rain. Did I just jinx us?

I'm hoping to leave from school about 4:00 Central on Friday. I might stay at Jeff's Friday and Sommers on Saturday. I'm hoping to find out what it's like to wheel without a Clint Blue Juice hangover.
