Badlands - Labor Day Weekend?

Are there any plans for anything going on at Badlands for the weekend of Sept. 1st?

My dad is going to be in town and I thought I might head to the Badlands and take him wheelin!

Anybody is welcome to join me. Right now I'm thinking maybe just a day trip on Saturday.

I'm in if this works out. I hope to have my auto install done so I can get some wheel time before the Hoedown. My Art Carr should be delivered tomorrow .

Id be down for either the cliffs or the badlands, though im leaning more towards the badlands due to a group from CK5 heading down there. Havent seen a few of those guys in years.

I prefer Badlands because I want to scope some spots for the Hoedown, but I want to be sure that my rig is ready first before I totally commit. The 700R4 goes in this weekend and everything SHOULD work, but you never know. I am starting to think that I will have to flip my rear springs to keep my driveshaft length acceptable, but the plus side is the added wheelbase. I'll post up after the weekend to let you know my status.

I was working on my rig at his shop yesterday and he came by for a minute to drop his rig off. He said that he is sore all over, but nothing too serious. He basically rested all day yesterday so he can get back in the shop today.

Wow!

Guess I'll put some more work into my cage sooner than later.

Glad to hear Carl is just a little bruised after that.

How'd the auto work?

It is very good to hear that carl is just sore after that hard of a multiple. It was definately ugly looking from my vantage point, it could have ended MUCH worse.

All in all it was a fun time, it felt good to be tooling arround with fullsizes on the trails later that day. They sure are fun to watch.
I wish i had pics to post, but my camera has been acting up and i didnt bring it.
