That is the only thing I found wrong. I first thought it was a broken centering pin but it was good.

I checked the rear U-Bolts and was able to get one full turn on each of the nuts.

Thanks, I was just curious. I once bent a spring like that but it was not from loose u-bolts. The problem was that the springs were too short and created a poor shackle angle which led to an inverted shackle. The inverted shackle bent the spring. I was going slow at the time and was coming down off of a rock ledge with that side of the cruiser. Basically, the suspension was at full drop and then when being compressed again the shackle folded the wrong way. It was a sprung under suspension with 2.5" lift springs and 2" longer shackles. I think the springs were 6 leaf Ranchos.

] but I'd guess that because of the resolution of the original, he didn't want to degrade it to the level required for general posting. As I drag my mouse across the pic, it comes up as three different pics.

The 45 is one of the silent ones nobody talks much about, but it's a very cool model ! I read the whole write up in TT and it sure looks like a load of fun. Plenty of room to carry all and sundry, PLUS the kitchen sink!
