Ok..I'm officially jealous...those back landing gear ARE THE CHIT!
I just ordered 2 - 15" drop leg jacks to weld on the bumper...and get rid of the smaller jacks.
You couldn't post it over the weekend and save me a 100$?
Great work!

I hear ya, i get a ton of PM's asking exactly what shade i used. Had to stop giving the info out to those who couldnt help themselves (it's in my thread) so as to not have a ton with exactly the same color.
On your side 'steps", do you have room for Gerri cans mounted upright? Or possibly a propane bottle?
I have a trailer project of my own, but it's far from done. Just borrowed this off a bud for an upcoming NAXJA event. I'll mount my RTT on it.

i dont thnk i can stand up the jerry cans they will definatly fit horizontaly dont know if that is legal or not and yes there is definatly room for the propane tanks there, that will be my next project that and deciding what rtt to put on it ,im really leaning toward the globetrotter, but im kinda waiting on this other one that olympiafj60 is working on, im not sure if it will suit my trailer but he has me interested..

We can all appreciate wheeling! I must say that some of the stuff they were winching through was pretty weak though.
Just kidding. Hang out here long enough and you'll have a cruiser before you know it.

Shock Top is a wheat ale, similar label I guess.
Excellent trailer. I'm not sold on the RTT but I'm definitely digging the lid.

One of my favorite trailers just got better, congrats on the aquisition!
Just spent 4 days in the RTT in heavy rains, the changing/living room and attached awnings/coverage holds a new interest to me. Having a shadyboy gazeebo just didnt do the trick.
Your gonna want to consider adding a tailgate. Once setup it's a PITA if you need something in or out of the trailer.... would imagine moreso with the Serengetti styling.
Didnt realize your in the Niagra area..

actually the tailgate is already done .. one of the first mods we did.. guess it is just kida hard to see in those pics.. i thought long and hard before i puchased this tent and knew that i had to have an add a room of some kind i have spent too many camping trips huddled under a tarp trying to stay dry..and it sucks,, this tent the ground room is 7' x 7' i was thinking that may to be too big for some of the spots we camp.. but i am sure i prolly wont reget it after i have used it a few times .
tailgate is there
the plan is to use the trailer a few times and see what mods are next. im thinkin a slide out at the side will be nice.. now i have notice a change in the COG now that this tent is mounted so maybe a water tank underneath might not be a bad idea.. i usally carry an msr water filter and a couple of gallons of fresh water max .. now i have lots o room for so a tank might be good

Very nice trailer. Great fab job. Awesome tent.
Silly video:
BTW - are those hinges just heavy duty door hinges that you welded the holes closed?

How well does the lid seal? Experiencing any problems with mud, water, dust getting in? Or, is it too early to tell?
Best mod you've made yet to your J%*p!

i dont know if you can tell from the pics but the lid folds over the edge of the trailer bout 1/2 an inch.. now i used the trailer on our may 24 run and it was raining.. the trailer inside was bone dry.. so im sure dust shouldnt be an issue either since then i have added a strip of foam rubber seal 1'' x 1/4'' all the way around the edge for added protection.. the only problem i will have is at the bottom of the tailgate.. i havnt figured out what i am gonna do there yet.. that one is gonna be a little harder to seal...

Fantastic trailer. The mods really compliment the look. Nice touches, the landing legs are very slick.
