Something like that though would be best to have setup for quite awhile.
After viewing the video I would not want to be breaking that down every few days or so. I will take my roof top tent over it and my gear I have. __________________ Corey '07 FJ Cruiser ARB bumper, Warn XD9000, to much to list, see my website My Forum - My Website - My Rigs Build-up - Roof Top Tent - My Penthouse - Maggiolinas In Their Natural Habitat |

Thanks!
I always start at the back of the Journal and look at what new ads are out for cool gear. __________________ Corey '07 FJ Cruiser ARB bumper, Warn XD9000, to much to list, see my website My Forum - My Website - My Rigs Build-up - Roof Top Tent - My Penthouse - Maggiolinas In Their Natural Habitat |

Most of the places I camp would not allow setting up such a large tent right next to the trailer... there just isn't the square footage.
And most State Parks around here have a gravel square for tents and a narrow vehicle parking area... and the two spots are often not even close. You would have to set up the tent on the vehicle slab (if it would fit) and take your truck off to the overflow parking. I guess if you camped on groomed, freshly cut lawns all the time it would work fine. ![]() Stupid design IMHO. And the front looks like a grossly bloated golf shoe. John Davies Spokane WA |

Just an Update;
Spoke with a member of the design team who was in route to an elk hunt which included some team members from several major publications, they were going for a "test run". He indicated that he would call me in two weeks to give us (you and me) a first hand look at this camper when he got back. As he explained some of the features, it sounded very intriguing, so I'm going to remain neutral until I get a first hand look. He said he would give me a walk around and maybe a few pix. I hope he can include some pix setup on the face of a mountain, with using it as a hunting base camp. And yes..I do agree the the front needs a little different design..seems a little "art deco", too much for my taste also. Good Job to Corey, he found this !! If we have any questions, let's post them and maybe the designer could address them during the hunt!! __________________ Fat, Drunk and Stupid is no way to go through life Son.... |

Lots of storage space that is easy to access. Not sure how it would hold up as a trail trailer but for setting up a base camp it may be good. Just a wall tent and a kitchen trailer really. There are a lot of "elk camps" around here that just use a big wall tent.

Priced in Airstream territory and designed to attract the same folks (art deco). $25K-$40K depending on config and options. Very cool, but I am still partial to the Adventure Trailer stuff. Fun to think about though.

I saw one in person at a camper show. Seem really neat, the kitchen pops out of the back and is covered by the tent. They use em for military and police apps. Then I asked the price, $25K and I just walked away bewildered. I'm not sure who would pay that much for a giant canvas tent that neatly folds into a space ship looking trailer.

Just proves that there's something for everybody! Logically, it's hard to justify such a thing when a Jayco Baja or a Fleetowood Revolution off road worthy popups cost far less and allow more versatility and amenities.
Neat concept nevertheless. __________________ TLCA # 15941 KE5LED Currently working PA |

They make them for Fire depts as hazmat decon tents and command posts I dont know of any departments that have actually bought one though pretty pricey even for them.
