one behind me
Here is what I built up here in CR.
Airbags for heavy loads or over wieght. has a removable hardtop. Twin bed fits in perfect for over nighting. built it light maybe 2 damb light but easy to pull. Will take 1200 lbs no problem. Been tested over and over at this wieght. 40 wall tube frame throughout. still finishing the interior. plans to put some jack stands on the hardtop so I can just pull out rather than beg someone to come over and help drop it. Maybe next week. Anyhow this is it. Sitting kindda funny here only shot I have of them hooked up together. Have to drop the hitch a couple inches. Next week eh. |

During the fab.
Only wish I had used aluminum for the side panels but like I said the trialer is too light. Bounces like a ball down these crap roads here with no load. I normally have it loaded down with tools for the jobs I am working on so not an issue. I have since added checker plate corners to the trailer and got a better jack stand. Will have to crawl under it and take some shots of the airbag beefs. They sure make a world of differance. easy on banana install also. Might run about 250 bucks to do it. In my case I saved the bags from a saw mill I was tearing down in Western BC Cnd. Brought 6 back with me to CR. They run a 100 buck each. Used one other for an air ride seat in the 40. |
