Finally a usable trailer ...

I have been working on this since last year, and now i think its usable.. List of goodies include : new tires, new chains, new pintle hook and reciever, spring over, led lights and wiring harness, just about everything, i an considering cutting for a tail gate, however i think i will use it for a while. since its been in my garage for over a year now ...

My 40 is green so i had to do the trailer green also ..

Now what will i do ...

Is that an M100?

It almost looks like my SPEN.

I see the lunette housing is upside down. How did you modify the landing gear?

I didn't modify the landing gear, the lunette hosing has a dual set up to adjust for height, i don't think its upside down, i just have the lunette in the lower position. so i could pull it behind my FJ without too much rake.

Post a picture up on g503,, It looks like a 100,, but some things are wrong,, the a-frame is a little different and the lunette casting doesn't look like from a 100.. Looks good tho,, just odd.. Maybe a couple trailers put together? I wish I never sold my 416,, as I just haven't sat down to build a new one yet..

I did a little digging,, as I have some time right now,, just sitting around,, It looks to be a late build m100, early Korean war? and the casting on the front looks to be from a M416 as it has the two post holes.. The a-frame is a little odd,, and I think that the shape of the cutout would help identify the manufacturer if you needed to know.. Also under one of the front spring hangers is a # stamped into the frame. If you get this it could tell you where, when and possibly if deployed. The front panel looks like it was replaced and it doesn't look factory, thats why thinking spen trailers,,
Good luck with it,,

Yeah, looks like my old M100 that I swapped the lunette casting on for a newer M416 model to give me more height adjustment. Looks good.
