I'm jealous as hell ... love Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Is the 4WD rode still open that goes North up the valley next to the dunes?

Great campin' up there in the meadows next to the stream ... just watch for bears.

I'll be up that way in August with my trailer ... if it's done.

How come no more pics of the trailer?

Springs

What are you using as replacement springs?

The local trailer store ordered them and welded on new brackets as they could find the exact length. Turned out good and rides much smoother.

So which regiment was mine?

Here are a couple updated pictures: The first is a side shot in primer with the new wheels, etc. The second shows the cheapo bed liner I sprayed. I'm not worried about the few dents in the bed as it's going to get abused anyway! Still needs paint, lights, a flat hinged top and side brackets for water and gas cans.

Not a lot of room, maybe 1 1/2" to 2"'s. I did a SOA but it was way to high. Switched it back to standard.

Nice build!! I need to get going on my M101. I still need to order the new drums so I can put 6 lug cruiser rims on it.

Sadly my M101 is going up for sale soon. It has been used on a number of camping/off road adventures this summer, but my wife & kids are demanding a pop-up camper. I can't pull both and don't believe in letting stuff sit around and collect dust. I've got around $3K into it with the trailer price, sand blasting, new axle, leafs, tires and wheels, etc. It has been a great little trailer for the short time I've owned it, pulls like a dream and gets plenty of attention on the road! I'll post it in the classifieds soon, but will probably ask around $2K?
