trailer mounted kitchens

Hi guys,

Are there any home built kitchens out the mounted on trailers? I am thinking of using an existing stainless sink unit and making a box aound it that slides out like a drawer, if ya sorta know what I mean?

These ones look the buisiness!

I kid, I kid... Had to stall whilst I took a photo for you.

I have a couple extras for more kitchens that were not made. If you like this and can't find one let me know and I'll cut you a heck of a deal. I'll even attach a kitchen to it.

Faucet was from West Marine, solid brass with a heavy chrome plating.

The thought has crossed my mind but the volume would be so light due to the selling price. The one above cost almost $500 to build and fully equipped with water, stove and propane weighs in at almost 100#. And that doesn't include pots and pans.

Do you have a leg or kickstand to hold it up? I would assume you'd keep one end on the trailer and suspend the other?

Man, I love that design. On the faucet, I need hot and cold to make my future plans work

I have fold out steel legs that have independent levelers for each leg so the unit is free standing and can be used on very uneven landscapes. The link is where i got them. It was the best price I could find. I had to do a bit of mod on the width, ie. cut them down to fit the width of the kitchen. I ordered them in black and repainted after rewelding them together. They fold up and fit inside the oak runners.

We went with the one faucet design because the width if the unit was to thin to put a double in. The width was determined by how many pieces we could get out of one sheet of plywood.
