Anyone see one of these trailer tents?
I noticed this one- a compromise for serious off roading but the "missus" might be more receptive to the camping ideal-
urvusa.com icamp elite I was looking at the "Lite" model. Comes in the Cruiser blue exterior color too.

would work great until a high wind kicked up and blew it away. Seriously, I used to live in the desert in a tent and wind was a problem.... those big 2 room dome tents work the best at resisting wind, or an RV.
stakes and tie downs would secure the trailer but the tent part would blow away or the wind would rip it to shreds. now if it was made out of heavy 10ga flatbed tarp it might work |
