I have an old Brockhouse trailer and I cannot dismantle the handbrale mechanism.
Does anyone recognize this model and can help me?
I have to dismantle it for sandblasting, I have tried nearly everything but have no manual, so....

Here is what I do for any stubborn part. Let some PB Blaster soak on it for a few days in a row. Then give it a go, if nothing happens, I put a bit of heat onto it and try again... if nothing happens I put a LOT of heat on it and beat on it in frustration.

I bet it is just rusted bolts, try some of the more trailer specific sites to see if you can get an exploded diagram to see how it goes together.

Paint it with heat resistant paint and add a rotisserie. It would make a great portable BBQ Nice job.

Very nice work !

I also took a quick look at your web pages and it looks like a lot of good info there too. Thank goodness pictures are worth 1000 words.

I am going to study your Hi-Lift jack set up as a trifor winch. I don't think I've seen it done that way before. I like the grab hooks "kettinghaken" you are using. I hope I can find somewhere in the U.S. that can supply them.
