What are these tools???

I bought a tool box from a police auction about a year ago and finally got around to cleaning a drawer that was really dirty and found these two in there.

What do you guys make of them?

The top looks like a chain break for taking apart motorcycle chains... the other looks like a cattle prod.... does it take batteries?

Ah ha! you're right on the first tool. It is a chain break tool:

Tusk Chain Breaker Motorcycle ATV Motocross New Tool:eBay Motors (item 290317166308 end time Nov-09-09 15:06:48 PST)

Not sure on the 2nd.

I have no idea on #2 #1 was an easy pick though.

Edit: I think they are related tool #2 is a master link clip remover.

I suspect #2 is for close tolerance car door fittings that no other tool can be used to unhook such as door handles window cranks handles etc.

I think you're right about the close tolerances. You can even see that part of the main shaft is flattened as to get into a tight spot...wait, that didn't sound right.

#2 has me stumped. I dont think it is for window cranks and door handles though. The hoop of wire in the center would prevent you from pushing the clips all of the way off of the splined shafts,
