M116A Trailer Question

All,
I noticed several M116A2 trailers being auctioned off by the government in Frankfort, KY. Here is the link to one of the auctions
http://cgi.govliquidation.com/auction/view?id=2167531&convertTo=USD
They looked interesting so I searched and some of the specs
3/4 ton load rating
875 lbs empty weight
bed dimensions = 147" long & 49" wide to the inside of tires

Has anyone ever used one or seen one used behind a Cruiser or similar sized vehicle? Clearly they are significantly larger than a M416 or a Canadian M101, but are they enough smaller then a US M101 (by not having the box/bed that a M101 does) to have any utility.

Thanks in advance.

WHEW! that's a big trailer. i've pulled mutt trailers behind Mountain Storm for many miles and i can say when it's fully loaded, you could really tell it in heavy off-road use.
i have no idea what this trailer would do, but it looks like it would be a hand full after you installed the sides, bedding and/or shelving.
whish i could help more.

Bob,
I really notice my trailer too when pulling it loaded (& its the flatbed version of the M416), so this would be clearly more. Thanks for the info; it is all academic since I could not justify anything more than talking out loud here with the question.

There is considerable difference in size and weight between those and a 1/4 ton M416. I don't think that would be very useful for us.
