A few buddies and I went up to Caryville the weekend after Royal Blue. I had not been there in about 5 years. Wow! How could I have forgotten a place like that.

I shot a little bit of footage. Mostly Brandon in the 4runner. He was anxious to try out the newly welded rear end. I think he was pleased. I know I was impressed.

I tried to sink the 60 not once but twice. Bonehead. My pedals were completely underwater while waiting for a tug. Water was halfway up the door and stopped just at the top of hump. Then I just about rolled it coming down on the Royal Blue side of the mountain. There is a short clip of my PS rear pushing over 4ft in the air. This proved to be a good way to get the rest of the water out of the cab. The rest of the clips are of the 4runner.

Photobucket video is blocked here at TVA, but I can see the thumbnail pics...all I can see is ass end and tire in the first one. That had to be exciting...that looks like a great time and cant wait to get home and check out the videos.

Andy - What a coincidence! Shawn and I have been emailing this morning about a return trip up there. Hate that we weren't able to go last weekend. Great inticing video though. Imagine how that water in your Cruiser would smell in the middle of the summer.

I like watching the longer based vehicles going up that wall like Brandon did in the 4Runner. I've seen a jeep flip backward trying to do the same thing there.

Do you think your crew would be up for Caryville again? We're gonna shoot for sometime in February. We could always start a new thread to see who'd like to join up.

Shawn threw a couple dates out there for the next run, but my best option is going to be the first of March. Our cruiser chic will be hatching sometime between NOW and Feb.19.
But I am READY to go back.

Please start a thread when you have some dates, if I am free i'll try to come and some of the Chattanooga guys may want to join in. Remember we have a ride in Harlyn, KY March 1 & 2, for those up to a road trip.

Congrats Andy. I'll tell you February 19th is a good day. That's my wife's Bday. Fatherhood is the greatest. You've got a great vehicle to take the little ones into the woods in a few years.
