I'll be there...We have several things to discuss re: Alaska...Its looking better every day, I might know more by the weekend...details then

Also, Cam @ IPOR is building me a dual swingout bumper and will deliver it to the round up. It'll carry the 38 as well as the hi-lift and two MFCs or a cooler. He's also bringing me a new skid plate. I'm trying to convince Daryl to build me a set of drawers after he finishes Kowboy's trailer set, but he wants me to check it out at the round up to be sure, and discuss ideas. Judging from his rig, I doubt there will be a problem

The york OBA system is done and works like a charm...about 2min to fill the take to 150psi at idle, faster if I bump it up just a bit. I guess the 7" Pulley is gona be fine. Airs up the 38s from 0-20 PSI in a little under 2mins at idle

After we get the 5 ton out and hopefully before GSMTR I'd like to get the tube fenders done...

So there's my update

Sounds like it is coming together. The plan on the 5 ton is to get the trans/clutch and the T-case back in it and the brake work done then it can move out of the shop, so we can get cruiser work done. Then I'll bring it in and out to do the other work on it. I have asked Clutchee to come over Saturday, so he can be part of the AK discussion.

Thanks to Todd and Marius for their help. We installed the fly wheel. clutch, installed new PTO seal on transmission and reinstalled the trans., installed a new sprag unit in the T-case and reinstalled the t-case, reinstalled the rear drive shaft and the shaft between the T-case and Transmission. We tried to adjust the rear brakes put the adjusters were frozen, so we'll save that for another day along with the new air booster for the brakes, old one had a broken piston.

Congratulations. You accomplished a lot today; you must have been all business. Will it take long to get the required parts in? My next Friday off is the 1st Friday in March. A Friday would allow me to de-conflict with Melissa's soccer.

I will start planning now so that I have the day blocked out to working on the 6x6.

Also, have a great trip to Texas and a safe one too.

Here are the work items for the 21 st, if we get them done, the beast will be mobile so I can get it out of the shop and work on my junk: hook up lines to brake booster, bleed brakes, install front drive shaft, pto shafts, install/ adjust pto and T-case linkage, install 8 tires and find and fix pwr steering leak. As you can see a bit much for just Larry and me, any volunteers?

A couple of other things I would like to get done before May, adjust bed so tail gate will work in both positions and clean and paint the truck, any painters in the group?

I'll know more as we get closer

Roger,
Thanks for taking the time off on Friday to work with me. I hope you had good luck in repairing the power steering tank on Saturday.

Ordered a new tank today, we did the beast out of the shop Saturday afternoon. Started on Todd's tube fenders, by Sunday evening we had one almost completed.
Thank you Larry and Todd for your help on the truck, a few more hours and I should have it ready to work. Wanted to straighten out the bed and paint it but will do that later if they don't need it at Tellico this spring.
