October is membership month

HEY GUYS!!!!
It was brought up at the last meeting that October is membership drive month for the STLCA! Well how about it?! Pay your dues and get your friends to do the same!

Did you know there was a website:

The official web site for the STLCA! Check it out. Get registered and logged on!!!

There is a bunch of info there that will help you get in contact with other Cruiser owners in your area and up dates on work weekends and trail rides.

Sure Mud is great and we should support it but bring some of that cash home to help the STLCA and save Telico!!!

Your STLCA membership also includes membership in SFWDA and UFWDA, both organizations are working hard to keep Tellico open. We have to submit our roster and dues to SFWDA 1 Nov. so please try to get your membership application mailed before then. The membership application has dropped off our website, e-mail me and I will send you one.

Carolyn sent out the check the other day, so here the classic line "The check is in the mail". Also, she asked why have the dues progressively gone up the past few years. My first thought is that SFWDA & UFWDA are actively supporting efforts to save Tellico and other areas under attack which requires more funds, but I could not confirm that. Could you?

Southern dues have stayed the same but United dues have gone up, the cost of operating a nation wide organization has gone up, United has a few paid people for the day to day operation and they paid the lawyer for the early efforts to keep Tellico open.
