August Trail Ride

August 10-12, Upstate Cruisers is having a run at Tellico and have invited STLCA members to join in the ride. The FJ Cruiser Trail Team will be at the event if you want to drive one on the trail or if you already have one you can ride along and get some good pointers.
We also need help Friday- Sunday. Need escort vehicles for dump trucks and have several other projects going on. Who is coming??

I'll be arriving Sat. morning. I don't know yet how many are coming with, but should have a couple.

Outstanding, we will be working out of the area by the bridge at Rough Water (trail 5), you can meet up with us there.

I'll be up early sat morning. I think I told you I couldn't get friday off? So...I guess I'll be there as early as I can. I'm sure something will break before then, so just let me know where and what you need me to stop and pick up

Of course this is all contingent on if I survive the Bachelor Party in Vegas I attending this weekend without a felony charge or other unspeakable atrocities

Also, am I ok to stay at Robs? trailer?

I've told my peeps that plan on doing trail Maint Friday to meet at McNabb around 12-1. From what I have been told from Roger we are going to be clearing trail 8 of brush. Will there be anyone to show us what to do or should we just let Dan loose? Any particular place the cut branches need to be? Any pointers.

Also I'm assuming we will putting out some signs Sat. we plan on forming at McNabb to make our assault around 9am. Any more details?

Rob and I should be working on trail 4 near the upper junction of 8. The lower section of 8 from trail 4 to trail 9 needs the most clearing. Just cut the branches back so they clear the 5 Ton windows and throw them off the down hill side of the trail and yes please turn Dan loose. I'll be down to McNabb Friday night with the sign materials and the instructions. I should have a better idea by friday night of what trails will be being worked on Saturday.
