kewl! sadly, my 96 LX will not be there. #6 cylinder head gasket blew in a cloud of steam and coolant this afternoon. I hope someone there knows a mechanic in the area. I'm gonna sell a kidney on eBay to pay for it.

That is correct, if you get there before we do, try to find us a table that is no directly in front of the loud speaker.

As the new interim Vice President, I propose we amend the bylaws to read:

"should a meeting fall directly on an officer's, or hell any member's birthday, the other members present shall be compelled to buy the person celebrating said birthday drinks of their own choosing until such time as said person becomes unable to stand without assistance and/or pukes."

Sounds like a good time.....
After a 2 year hiatus, I am slowly finding the time and $ to get the 40 back on the road.
Maybe a few beers and some Cruisa talk will be the inspiration that I need to get a move on.
(Hell, my avatar was gone it's been so long)

Hopefully you guys will have room for one more next month.

I'll be there! And yes Roger you're welcome to stay at the house. We'll also have a new prospective member there. Steve, who just bought an 80 and works @ TVA, emailed me and will be attending.

Sorry I've been out of the loop. Works been killing me and I've had some personal issues that cropped up in the last few weeks that had to be dealt with...not to mention I had a helluva summer cold too.
