a few more

It was a treat to wheel with Mark and Cruiser Dan. With those guys on the trail the "officials" don't really have to do anything.

I should have taken my time and set up a real picture at a Walkers but I wanted to catch the 70s series as it rolled through. There were 2 80s and 2 60s parked against the station in addition to those getting fuel.

Thanks for rolling through when I had my camera out. Can never have enough 70 series pics.

Yeah the tcase was pretty ugly. The guys on the trail with us were really cool and helped Paul replace his case after we got him back to camp. Only took about 3 hours. Alan, Jason etc. thanks if you read this.

Thanks Dave. Saturday's group was a blast. I left that trail with a new sense of perspective. Good times.

Mark,

Great write up on Pirate. Your comments about Will were fairily astute. Why follow the trail when you can get wet and muddy? Truly the trail was a bit meandering but I know he enjoyed the side trips. Of course after the stories Hugh had to tell us I don't know how much wandering is safe down there.

Good Pics San Juan. I said it then and I'll say it now. Following an FJ45 down the trail makes for a very enjoyable day.

For you guys on Cliffhangar friday, thanks for the good time as short as it was, Dave, Paul, it was good to be in the right place at the right time, glad we could be of help. You guys at Wasatch are great! Paul called today and even offered an invite to your social for this month. Thanks for the invite, it's appreciated, but sorry, maybe we can make it next time. Jason just got his pinion replaced and Tom Woods replaced his drive shaft with no questions asked, Ken still doesn't have his up and running yet, he blew the torque convertor on Poion Spider Sturday night. Oh yeah, we also had to replace Jason's birfield in camp Saturday. He blew it trying to drive off Poison Spider in front wheel drive.
