I know we kinda talked about looking into moving campgrounds. Think one of the things that came up was that thwy let us work on the trucks there.... But it seems lots of people have ben having bad service. I say deffinetly let them know once you get there and try and make it know'n that most everybody would like a change( I know I would). Anybody know the name of the campground behind Slickrock? I also like what Black Hills does and rents the whole campground for the event.

The "let us work on the trucks there" thing applied to the old owner. Has anyone asked the new one about that?

Hey Ken, you bet... Fins on Thursday. It was my first pic for Thursday as I've heard it's a good warm up. This is my first Moab trip, I'm pumped.

I assume your taking the LX450?

BTW - your pics sound close to mine (they were my second pics I think).

I got:

Thursday - Fins & Things
Friday - Poison Spider
Saturday - Hell's Revenge

If I can get a tail wind I'll be arriving late on Monday night (with my 13 year old son).

Kinda ending on a soft note

Camping at Slickrock - but would rather be on BLM land with a PA- Generator and a 40 gig iPod

I'll clarify the Thursday deal. On a PM I was told Purcupine Rim. On my official email I was told:

Thurs: SPIKE
Fri: FINS
Say: HELLS

So, it looks like I'm with you Mr. Slee on Thursday. I will hold my end of the original bargain and gladly bring the 100. This should be a blast.

I will clarify the Thursday trail though. See ya all!

If you are given Poison Spider as a trail run does that include Gold Bar rim and Golden Spike in the run or is iit just to the mesa and back?? Would be a real fast run if so, anyways got Hells revenge on Thurs, Moab Rim and Poision Spider on Sat.
Looking forward to Hells Revenge, never done it

Poison Spider is just that. The Poison Spider Trail has a big loop as part of the trail. You'll run that loop. For the People running Spike, they get there via part of the Poison Spider Trail and get out via the Gold Bar Rim trail. Spikees will not run that big loop.

well then it looks like I run the spike and rim trails on wed then, and hit Kane Creeks after the Moab Rim run, not a hard trail but real fun, did it at night last year, friends TJ broke both front axle shafts and hub on the creek waterfall climb, truetrac and tire spin didnt mix.

Time to take a page of Beowulf's book and get out the plastic wrap.
