What CB channel do the guys use for Cruise Moab?

i hear the 4x4 club around here uses channel 4, what about at moab?

I'm sure my piece of crap antenna will work fine but just curious before I screw up it's match too much.

I'd imagine various groups will be assigned their own separate channel at the meeting each morning.

I was semi kidding about the name tags but it does make sense I guess. Maybe we'll just wear our Avatars or something, LOL!

Different channels are assigned for each trail run. The information will be in the registration packet.

Good, cause people make fun of my real name, Haywood. Haywood J. Blomee. So I chose the screen name Kenton.

People make fun of that too, but only after rot13'ing it, which restricts it to a nerd pure play.

Ah, anyway. Hatfield, some of us are gonna just show up and try to find an open seat. What are the odds we'll be able to get a ticket for the dinner, pick up some tshirts etc?

Later,
Kenton

shirts no problem, but dinner tickets you'll want to arrange ahead of time as they only order enough dinners to match the entrants (actually, there's usually a few extra, but no guarantee you'll get one).

I've run magnets on my doors with my user names in the past. It works pretty well.

Ige, who do we contact about more meal tickets? My sidekick is now bringing his son and daughter. So I need to add them on to our registration.

Or at least take them off, before you go wheelin. I know, you've told me they "put a little spice in your pucker factor", but for the love of God, Doug, what if you get in an accident and someone has to cut your pants off?

We'll call T Y and have him bring his snips.

So I'm back rereading my CM05 stuff. On the evaluated items list is a Hi-Lift jack (recommended). I wasn't going to bother bringing mine as it's a pain for me to secure properly.

Is that going to be a problem if my trails aren't hardcore, specifically: Fins, Poison Spider and Hell's Rev?

If it's a problem I suppose I could bring it but I'd rather not.

BTW... I also see the Parking brake test doesn't account for automatics.

Riley, I would not worry to bring it. There is always someone with a hi-lift if you really need it. I would rather replace your dinky oe jack with a decent bottle jack. Much more usefull on the 80.
