Wide open is the norm. It's a pretty good sized field behind the store. In addition to the new RV park, it's also a pretty secure area to leave tow rigs. The person in the apartment on top of the store watches our junk pretty well.

Yeah, I remember the field. Wasn't sure if that was still a field or the new RV park. Thanks

don't know the arrangements but there is an RV park now where we used to park... don't know how that all works- just something to keep in mind.

The RV park is separate from the store and on the property that was the second field over. We still have the same field area as always for Fri night, staging, and tow rigs ... owned by and with permission of the store.

Thanks Jeff for clarifying that. I was surprised last time I went out there and there was an RV park(ing lot). The store folks have always been cordial and deserve some patronage for their hospitality.

Hi,
I would like to make the Fri run also. I am assuming it is Fri 7/24? Where do I go to officially register for the run?

Hi Sue, I've been trying to figure the same thing and ended up getting my TT, copied it and filled it out. Just waiting a day or two till that pension check comes in .
Thanks to Courtney, this might work. Way beyond my skills

Sue drove with Bob Bancroft (BlueHZT60) last year. She's got her own 80 now that she's been getting set up. Not sure how far along it is.

Thanks for the attachment WapitiDon... That was the motivation I needed. Check is in the mail, as they say. I just dropped the registration in the mail this morning. I'm hoping it gets there by the 7th, so I can technically be 'on time'.
Now I just have to get my junk ready.

Today is the official registration cut-off. But, will allow a few more days for you procrastinators out there ... don't delay any longer.
PS - the trail is looking real good for this years run & the water at the swimming hole is even warmer this early

Hey Kief, I was there last year w/ my currently ex fiancee Bob Bancroft. You probably are more familiar w/ him. Also I was the gal who won the raffle ticket for the hyliff jack, and Bob made me re-enter it cuz he had one for his truck. Boo hoo now that we are not together, I sure could use one on my "new" fj80 that I just purchased!!

Hi Jeff,
I have been working 12hr shifts down in Bend. I am headed home tomorrow, so was planning to send in check, do all my "business" when I got home to Medford. I will send a check off today. Glad I went on the line, otherwise I would have missed out. Yikes!!!! Am planning on being there Fri and Sat. one way or another.
Thanks,
Sue

Another reminder of the informal run going in on Friday. Thursday night pizza and beverages at Wild River in Grants Pass 7 PM. Heading out of the O'Brien store Friday morning at 9:30 now, will run the whole McGrew trail in. PM me for more details or contact info if you need it.

Just a reminder for newbies, wash the truck underside BEFORE you get there. I was not aware of this and I had to go back and wash before I could take the trail.

I am going to bring the reeser's potatoe salad. You know, the kind that you throw away the salad and eat the plastic container.
Ok, I know some of you don't have time to whip something up so here is a tip: If you come through Cave Junction, stop at Taylor's sausage and buy some Brats, Polish Sausage, heck- some jerky would go over fine- no worries...
