Convoy to RUBITHON from So Cal

Heading out Tuesday Morning from Los Angeles to head up north. Stopping only for gas and a supermarket run right before heading to Ice House.
Who's leaving the same day?

Possible rendezvous at later time with those come from further North. Check in!

Will be on CB channel 17
HAM: 146.46 (nor cal 80 channel)

Leaving Sac tues afternoon. Gotta wait for Mr. Manny...Top up the tank in Pollock pines. Be at Loon an hour later. 10-4 ch17...what is this ham you speak of?

Are you going up the 5 or the 99? If you're on the 99, you'll prolly pass us between Bfield and Fresno. Wife and I will be flat towing the 40 with her Burb.

If you have a pair of stickers for the rig I'll slap them on my quart. panels my orig. are on my old glass.

8am is cool 9am is MUCH better

and I can meet you right off the 405N. at Wilshire Federal building parking lot. It will be hard to spot me and I'll have to search hard to find you, but I think we'll manage bro.

If you can swing 9am great. if not let's meet in the middle at 8:30. I was planning on leaving at 10am. Do you have a preference taking the 5 or 99?

mark any reason you guys take the 99 over the 5? I always take the 5, but a change is nice every now and then.

i am leaving ventura monday night and going through the night to get to loon tuesday am. me in my 60 and a friend in his 45 pickup. see you all there. wagon run for me too

Why not wait until the AM and just roll with us. If we leave at 8:30 we should be at the camp by 6pm.

i will run it by the rest of the crew and maybe we meet on the 5 and 126 jct. by magic mountain. what time would you be there, or what way you going.

We would probably get there around 9/9:30. Can hit you up on the HAM if you guys have radios, or we could catch up around lunch.

most likely we are gonna leave monday night, we go slow , like 60-65 max. plus the fj45 heats up on long freeway runs, we have done some differnt things to help that but dont want to hold up a hole convoy if we have make adjustments or something. anyway i will give you my cell or steves cell before we head out so if there is drama. thanks again. see you there. maybe the ride back we will all convoy back.
