Clint, I plan to be there but I've got a few things to take care of on the drive tomorrow so I'll be heading south on my own. Watch for a blue BJ60 as you head south!

We should be on the road Friday evening by 6:00 pm, hopefully...

Does anyone know if the OBrien General Store has diesel for sale?

I just called the O'Brien Country Store...and they do not have diesel. In case anyone else was wondering.

We'll just fuel up in Grant's Pass most likely. Thanks Tony. See everyone soon! WOOOT!

Like many secrets, they eventually come to be known ... the secret swimming hole has finally been discovered by all

Yeah it was great! That is one of my favorite, somewhat local runs. Thanks Jeff and Tony for making it memorable for us all. And to the TT team, had fun watching them and I really needed a hat!
I want to also say that it was great to get to meet all you other Toyota lovers. The PMC guys and the new Jefferson State guys too. Put that donation to good use Garret.
Looking forward to running with you all again. Russ, I think you had the funnest food there, Thanks

All I need now is a new suspension and steering set up!!

Yes, the Oyster bar was classic... thanks for bringing the Kumamoto's Russ!

And to watch Travis Knoll and Garret run the trail, after running Rubithon, like rock crawling masters! What a difference in their attitude and their skill.

The Raffle was fun, but I really enjoyed calling each registered driver up and quizing them on various topics, mainly their TLCA involvement and running McGrew.

Ron had videos going. Jack fixed Jeff and I breakfast before Ron was even up. Joshua donated the hi lift jack, which Bob Bancroft' wife was bummed when he donated it back to the raffle, one lucky person in the raffle won a rock... and Don Gatton took the grand prize donated by the Trail Team, $500 gift card.

Ron Safreno was in San Diego Thursday night, and at O'Brien store Saturday morning. Phew. No wonder he won the PMC participation raffle.

Jeff Dirks had the right idea, he went in Thursday and enjoyed some time there.

and as Aric noted, no dew this time! No sure what happened, I always sleep under the stars and get some heavy dew, but not this year.

The swimming hole was most excellent.

I am just amazed at the phenomenal good time we had. Thanks to all!

Once again it was a fantastic Trip. Family, Friends, and Cruisers (and a Tundra) What more could you want. I was happy this year that I got to bring the entire family. This was the best year by far, and I did'nt even drive the trail. I think the trail is just an added bonus, and I would bet the majority of people would still show-up minus the trail. I even got to the secert swimming hole, that I was hearing about. I can't wait for my kids to be older to enjoy it like there father did.

On a side note, the trip out of camp was almost not good for myself. A good size stick made the perfect leap from the ground to being wedged between my exhaust and transfer case, and about ripped out the conection of wires that handle the fourwheel drive. When it happened all my lights for the fourwheel drive started blinking, and I thought for sure it pulled all the wires. Luckly it somehow pulled the conector off and not just the wires. After a few mintues of trying to get the stick free, and repluging the conector all was good.

Maybe next year we could raffle off peices of Russ's plastic bumper and a Rock. Great job to all that help make Mcgrew the best secert in the TLCA.

Thank you Tony, another great run this year. We are already looking forward to next years event and hope that we can be involved to help get some of this off of you and Jeff's plate.

Wow... I think we might have next years slogan...

'The best kept secret in TLCA!'

or

'I won a rock!'

I know I speak for both Jeff and I when I say... 'Thanks for all the kind words'.

IF we use it as a slogan, I want to win the rock. "ohh Please can I huh huh, can I" But first I should learn to spell "SECRET" not "SECERT"

Has anyone seen DirtGypsy yet? He looked as though he was going for a permanent camp host postition..

Cruiser_guy: Did you have an uneventful trip out and did you get your tires?

Thanks again J&T.
Thanks Jack for the killer scalloped potatoes.

Yes, thanks for the rock, such a gift was more than I felt deserving of and thus I donated it back to remain in its proper domain...

Hey we made it out!!! arrived in Portland around 5pm tonight. Well worth the drive as it is a great time every year.

Thanks to Tony and Jeff you guys make it look easy.

McGrew you owe me a motor mount!!

Thanks for the co-pilot duties and help on the trail Josh, Keif and the guy who donated the ratchet strap to the cause!!

I would agree that this IS the best kept secret in the TLCA events and the extra days made it that much more enjoyable.

Clint

Keep on 4 wheelin'

The strap came from Gnob, (Eric right?) and he was more than happy to make a deposit in the karma bank... Great people doing great stuff in a great place.... C'mon! It doesn't get better, and yes, no dew in the morning! Hehehe That was nice, also it wasn't too chilly....

Yes...thank you Tony and Jeff. We had a great time and it is the best kept secret but another slogan might be "The secret's out". I can't even imagine how beautiful that trail was before the fire. I have to agree Jeff Dirks had the right idea to go in early. And that Trail Team has really grown on me from a couple years ago, even before that last raffle ticket was drawn .

And Tony...Sheila says no way she's getting into her mermaid suit but she will be there

Just as long as she joins us. Having her, Rachel and Cindy attend would be the only way our event could have been any better. (notice how I included my own wife so I would not get into too much trouble?)
