Just decided to start posting and reading about the event. Been using Toy350 for the intel to date, but he said that there was a request for head count of the wee ones. My wife and I will be attending and we are also bringing our three year old and our two year old girls. Just got our registration out in the mail today for the one day run thru on Thursday.

I was told I got the last room at Ice House but they have camping available. Also Robb's Resort should have plenty of space still.
Knoll's Voodoo Blue hasn't been to Moab Tony, we have been building it the last month in my garage, he has put some nice stuff on it to test on the Rubicon.

I just got a new bottle of Don Julio for my birthday... we need to find each other I'll bring the limes.
HI Tony,
Should I be concerned that there are no tshirts marked on my confirmation? We had the premier pack, need shirts and hoodies in XL.
Will my TLCA Membership stuff come to me before the trip, or are we picking that up there?
Thanks! - Ann N

The DJ 1942 is an Excellent choice! My favorite! Maybe the ..........best!
But look for "Old Man Emu" to be pouring about 3 liters of Cazadores on Friday night.

I bought my plane tickets...now I just need someone near Reno that can help me with vehicle shipping. Anyone have secure storage that can take delivery of my truck maybe a week before Rubicon, then vice versa on the way out? Both Toyota dealers near Reno have said "no". Go figure....guess they don't want to be positively mentioned when I write this up for TT.

Oh, and a bitchin FJ45 that may or may not be for sale.

Assuming the rates are still where I was told they would be, it should ship a week or so before the event. Someone will need to "receive" it (possibly two trucks) and tell me everything is okay so I can pay the shipper the balance. I need to pick it up in/near Reno, NV on the 17th (Tuesday) and will drive it into Tahoe. What I don't know, is the exact date of shipping arrival, all I know is when I told them the drop dead date is for it to be there. It/they will come in on a 18 wheeler, so wherever it drops, it needs to be accessible....no tight little neighborhood streets.
Shipping out will be the same deal. I need to leave it somewhere, maybe a week, for them to pick it up to bring it back. Someone will need to be available to sign/etc. that it's on the truck and intact.
If the rates go way up, I pull the plug and just fly out to help with the event. It would be nice to have my truck, but not required to have a good time!
Any ideas are fair game for consideration....cruiser shops, trustworthy club members, shipping company's hub, RV storage lot, etc.
Please PM me ideas or questions, no reason to junk up the thread too much with my issue.
Thanks!

Why wont the shipping company hold the car? We shipped from CA to NY and the shippers held the car for 5 days until it was picked up (although this was pre 9-11). Best of luck
