and Chappy, after he drops the ball and leaves you hanging (as he is known to do), you can nominate him for a bonehead award as was the case last year.
Sorry John, this was too much for me to simply let slide... notice no one has posted since, they are all still laughing!
Its all good!

I am going to try to shoot out the first batch of confirms within the next week or so... I have them all right here and am beginning the data input.
I also need a count on the wagon run, that is pretty much all I have received to date...

909... be sure you test all those mods before Rubithon... we don't want to be ironing out bugs on the trail.
FYI for all, plenty of room on all runs so don't fret... but get those registrations in before May 31.

No problem Tony, things will be all tested before we leave . If I thought it would be a problem I would be the first to say my Cruisers not ready just making comments about getting ready.

Last night was our last club meeting till after CM'08 and I have to pass on the excitement of the 1st RS Rubithon pilgrimage! Looks like we will have about 15 rigs freeing dinosaurs at what will be a few expensive fill ups from Denver to Placerville back to Denver. Enthusiasm is very high even with most of our attention right now focusing on Cruise Moab. Thanks for the Rubi Committee for the help and the great idea of the Hall of Fame theme! Like always.....TLCA ROCKS!

you CO guys are as busy as us CA guys...
"Hey, I have an idea, lets host a large event, and travel great distances to another large event, right before or right after our large event!'
or something like that.
Mel Brooks, Blazing Saddles... Work, work, work!
The RS group has the largest amount of registrations so far at 7!

My wagon won't be ready for the Rubithon this year. I'm planning on just hiking in with the wagon run and having someone carry my stuff. Can I send in a registration form just for food? (I don't have to pay the $100 registration fee, correct?) Also, how many miles is it to hike back from the Springs to Loon Lake?

I don't know how many miles the hike is, but you can and likely will travel faster on foot than the rigs.

Sent my app in last week, hoping to get on the wagon run, naturally.
My printer's not working, so I sent a 2006 form I found in an old TT...
Hope that didn't confuse Tony TOO much.

Is there a Q&A Thread somewhere on whats best to bring, camping supplies, food, personal supplies, GAS and such Thanks also looks like i am going to pass on the power steering this year there just is not enough time with work and all to have it completed by the run. so it looks like we will be running with 4' lift, 33 MTA's rear locker, w/SM465 should also have the winch mounted and everything trimed. Thanks Tony !!!!!
