I'm on track to leave Pismo in the morning - OK closer to noon. I even managed to lower my bump stops today so the new 37x14.5 Toyos won't rip the shock off when articulating.
Should be in Tahoe tomorrow night, head in Sunday - probably behind Dave and Ross as usual.
Dave, remind me to re-spool my winch line when you see me, it's a mess.
Ross, I'll catch up with you somewhere along the trail and be ready to help in the Kitchen as needed.
Should be at Loon by Tuesday and hoping for a hamburger at Robb's Resort. Maybe even a shower, but after only three days that might be to soon.
I can't wait to see hundreds of Cruisers!
Oh yeah, I looked at the attendance list post on the Rubithon web site. Only three FJ60s?!?! And no FJ55s (except Stayner's name had a blank entry so that's at least one). A whole bunch of them damn 40s, 80s, Mini's and FJs.
Hopefully, my new bump stop's fixed this:

Should have left the bumpstops alone and let the tires rub some of that "damn" 60 series rust off!

Jim -- That list is only the rigs on the "formal" runs. ALL of the "outlaws" are not listed. There are 175 rigs registered (roughly).
Dinner -- We're going to be cooking for nearly 400 for both dinner AND breakfast--- Prepare yourself! We'll see how many people survive Marauder bar and make it up for breakfast.

Thanks, I feel better already.
I like Big Butts (yes, I'm talking about Cruisers)
I'm currently 300 miles into the 400 mile drive to the trailhead. Grabbing some food and noticed free wifi at Subway.
Soon to be in Tahoe, trail in the morning and off the grid...
Cheers fawkers!

Soooooo just curious. Hows the trail look now? Is it still wet or has the dry spell sucked out the water?

We made it across the continent and checked into Placerville until departing for the trailhead Wed morning. Nice drive across except for the tornado warnings in Lawrence KS and the headwinds through CO and WY, sucking the gas in a big way.
Beautiful here, can't wait to hit the trailhead on Wed noon...

OK, about now is when the issues and errors begin to surface. I am 20 shirts short, so there are about 15 folks who will receive their shirts about two weeks after the event. Ya, I bummed too.
So if you registered after 5/30, and you wanted L or XL, please be patient.

Tony, I registered early but would be more than happy to wait a couple of extra weeks for my XL if that would help. Heck, how many months did it take for the last hoodie! I know you're 'good' for it.
Best

That's is a good option. We plan on arriving on Wed. evening for the Thursday 9:00am run (instead of arriving in early morning after a 4-hour drive), beside camping or staying at Icehouse, can we camp near Loon Lake? Thanks.

Tony, Any chance we can order some extras at the event? or now? I would love an XL. If ya got to put an order in, might as well wait till after to put it in so maybe people would like a spare, or extras once they have a oops I forgot I had my cool shirt on before I starting fixing the stuff I broke on the way in. lol
Cruzilla.. I will be riding in on Friday eve, I will be looking for ya Sat. I got no truck, be on foot. Or Bicycle. Fuel prices are a killer.
Anyone else. If your going out to get Ice on Friday, and may be comming down Cadilac on Friday after dark. you may see a van. and a guy on a bicycle. That may be me. If I can find a rig I can ride near so I am not alone, and maybe put my backpack in I would apreciate it. If Not I may just sleep in the van and ride in in the AM.
Also my host is bringing in me some sleeping gear, and maybe some food. lol. If I look hungry try to feed me!
Anyway cant wait to see everyone again. been awhile since I been on the Con. I got the chance, I need to be there. even without my truck. after all its not always about the ride, but the people!

I know where that is! The only Island in Lake Tahoe. I guess that means I got to pack the Long Johns.
BTW It is 105 here in Vegas. Did the snow kill the mosquitoes? How long does it take for one to hatch, and then eat me?
I have a tent and bag set up so far. Backpack doubles as a pillow! I know we are all like Family, I have no fear of going hungry.

thanks Mark and Kent... but a small miracle by our shirt guy and we should have enough shirts for everyone, including a few extras.
Anyone dropping in Wed between 10 and 11 AM with room for a box of shirts?? Looks like two trips for the first time ever.

I'm "camped out" at the "Mother Lode Inn" in Placerville, waiting for Inchworm to finish up some work on my FJC then heading up on Wed morning. The weather looks to be great with a full moon ready for us on Wed night. We are pretty excited for this adventure, can't wait to meet up with everyone...

Check with Chartdog, I think he's wed at 10. I'm leaving to meet Reff in pollock in a few hours.
The goat is going in around 7:00pm Wednesday and the Pardi crew around 6pm.
