I prefer 80 and around... too many large passes on 50.

Ham Frequencies for Cruise Moab
Quote:
Common Channels CB HAM Radio Cruise Moab Base 4 146.460 (simplex) Repeater #1 - 146.760, 88.5 Hz tone Repeater #2 - 146.900, 88.5 Hz tone HAM radio operators please note: Utah band-plans use a 20Kz step between frequencies. All trail frequencies are within the Utah Band-Plan simplex operating range. All frequencies will be operated according to the “gentleman’s agreement” with regards to sharing frequencies. All operators must use the least amount of power necessary to conduct transmissions. The CM base station may be monitored during the day for non-life threatening emergency traffic, should the need arise. Please seek out a high vantage point to attempt calling the CM base station. We have assigned frequencies for each trail run and will give that information out at the event. __________________ Chris Hatfield KCØZABTLCA#2768, Ad Sales Manager, Toyota Trails/tlca.org "As long as you're skating on thin ice, you may as well dance!" Chris -- If you have any "VIP's" that are looking for a seat, I have one open. Turns out that the guy who was going with me has to work now.
I'm doing the "FJC" run with Robbie on Thursday. Thanks __________________ Ross Woody TLCA #7704 72 FJ40 with some mods... (now sporting ORION #342) 07 TRD FJC |

So tomorrow(Wed) I should be starting the drive.... I think I wore myself out physically and mentally to get on the road.... BUT yee haw I'm ready. Now only 40 hrs of driving to get there.
I've been working on my truck for 3 years with it off the road in my garage. I have torn apart almost everything on it prior to going... I am leaving missing little skid plates and covers. And I rebuilt my turbo tonight. A week and half ago I finished my job after 3.5 years contract, so I had closure work to do there. And the truck at the same time. Moab has been my goal to get the truck on the road and move on. Cheers! I post along the way in another thread. __________________ -84 BJ60, Finally on the FN road! -91 FJ80, wife's ride Iron Butt award winner of the Cruise Moab 08 ! |

Wish I was already there but I'll be leaving SLC around 2:30 Wed with another 80 and a 40 on a trailer. The three of us will be travelling I-15 SB to Highway 6 over Spanish Fork canyon to Price then to I-70 on to Moab.
I think we'll be on CB channel 22 if any of you see us. Got a few loose ends to tie up today and tomorrow, but I can't wait to get on the road.
