Norcal60,

Take a look a the Toyo MTs. It's a very nice tire.
I'll be tail gunning the wagon run.
The nice thing about being with vehicles that are similar to yours is that the lines are similar. Following a 40 lines on an 80 is not always a good thing.

Alvaro

BreakFast for the Wagons

I notice that the Wed. 10am Wagon run has no breakfast? Any reasoning as to why/why not considering the grill will still be hot from the 6am run a few hours before. Can you just buy breakfast from them separately? (i would assume so) that was good stuff. more importantly I didn't have to make it and clean it up.

Sam,

I'm planning on having breakfast. We have two options:
1. pay for it. 2. Make our own.

I'm going for option 1.

Regards

Alvaro

Sam...

Wagon count as of Sunday 3/25.... 8 trucks, 2 committee.
You can picture that as 4 slots remaining.

Breakfast is not included, although you can stop at ice house before your run and have breakfast.

Yes, time is flying by, don't procrastinate on your repairs and trail prep.

Oh, by the way

Any non California Participant bringing a "buggy" will need a temporary "OHV" sticker. You can get them here:

After looking at some different tires, these looks like a good option. How are they on the highway and where is the place to buy them?

Thanks

Traditionally, the shirt design is a "day of event" surprise. Few people beyond Tony and Cindy have any idea.

But I'm sure this will be a good year

Tony, not to trouble, but could we get a list of everyone on the Wagon run? I'd appreciate it and I'm sure the others would too. Thanks, look forward to the festivities.

As the run leader for the Wagon Run run, I have Tony's permission to make a few changes, so here they are.

First, I am going to call everyone on the run prior, and talk about your rig and your experience level. Also to remind you about #2, which is extremely important.

Second, the run will leave from Loon Lake, not Ice House. The depart time will be 9am or earlier, just behind the first run. I am thinking we will need all the daylight hours available to get the group safely tucked into Buck Island. We are not meeting for breakfast. There is no breakfast. You can have some of my cherrios if you like. Just be ready to leave by 9am at the #2 dam at Loon Lake and we'll be OK. You can eat all the breakfast you want, wherever you want, just be ready to go at Loon Lake, 9am. Plan on arriving by 8:30, and airing down.

Third, Camping this year must be within 50 feet of the trail. The best sites are way more than that at Buck Island. We may go just beyond Buck Island to the big open spot just before Big Sluice. We'll play that by ear.

Comittee-Alvaro, Mark Warner and Pismo Jim have offered to to help. I will be relying on them heavily to make this work, especially in the difficult sections around Walker Hill.

Looking forward to it!
