oregon beach driving

wondering if anyone can chime in on where in oregon you can drive the dunes and camp on the beach with a vehicle if possible

There are dunes to play on between Coos bay and Florence. But I think you have to camp in designated camping areas.... Not just anywhere on the dunes.

I have picked up maps of Oregon at our state DMV and there is an index on the left side of which beaches you can drive on and when. I recall being able to drive on the beach in Florence, and also at Pacific city. Sand Lake is subject to snowy plover nesting schedule. I bet if you searched some of the official OHV or Oregon websites someone will hook you up with a free map or the info you need. Make sure you get a tide chart too!
