West Coast Rep?
Hi All:
Wondering what it takes to get the West Coast Individual Rep to come up to meet a bunch of Land Cruiser owners? I am involved with an informal Land Cruiser group that comes by the name "Seattle Cruiserheads." Seattle Cruiserheads | Home (website is under re-model currently.) We have been around since 1999(?) or so. The group consensus is that we like the informal, unorganized nature. Thus, we are not interested in applying for chapter status. But, many of us are TLCA individual members, and encourage are fellow "members" to join TLCA. We would welcome the visit of the West Coast Individual Rep to our monthly "meeting," if he/she chose to make an appearance. Thanks. Alan |

biggest thing is whether or not the west coast rep lives near you
![]() chances are no. not sure if jeff zepp is still covering, but he's in colorado, so that would be too far of a trip for a meeting. you can check the website to find out who is curently the rep and contact them with any questions regarding the club, what to do, how to become a chapter, etc. that's what the reps are there for. __________________ seven cruisers and 3 of em run and four are for sale |

Hi All:
Inge, thanks for the reply. Colorado? Seems "central" US not "western" US to me? ![]() But seriously, what good is the "Individual Rep" positions if they cannot travel to where individual TLCA members reside/meet? Regards, Alan |

it's a volunteer position and is not paid at all. traveling is expensive and many don't have the time, unfortunately. they are there to help via phone, email, pm, the board, many other means possible.
i wouldn't call colorado central, but we're kinda considered that for a lot of stuff. we were lacking a volunteer for western rep, so jeff stepped in. i think we voted one in at last meeting, but i was late, so i'm not sure

The new Western IR is Cory Filmore, aka Trunk Monkey here on MUD.
Give him a holler and see what he says. As Ige noted, we're all volunteers so please understand we're doing this out of our own pockets. Call on me if I can provide further help. Happy Trails! I was traveling all last week for business, just noticed the thread, sorry for not responding sooner. I'm brand new in position and still learning the ropes. From what I know so far, the IRs facilitate groups into becoming recognized TLCA chapters and are the voting voice on the TLCA board for the individuals that have no chapter affiliation.
I am going to make every effort to be at the TLCA sanctioned events in the West this year to meet peeps, but, like has been said, don't have the personal budget to fly to individuals groups to meet. As TLCA issues cmoe up I would welcome your input on voting, I'm working on having the TLCA admin get my contact info up on the main page. __________________ Cory Fillmore TLCA Western Individual Representative 99 UZJ 100 Series Wheels FOR SALE-CLICK HERE |
