I'm throwing my hat in for WIR Alan. I'll be running on the "I'll try to do a good job." platform.
I'd really just like to give back. Thanks.Jerod Knox __________________ Jerod Online Toyota Parts Catalog!!! 89 4Runner "The James Caird" 01 4Runner, for my Jefferson State Cruisers Last edited by 2ndGenToyotaFan; 09-18-07 at 08:50 PM. |

I'll put my name in for WIR, mostly just based on it's always someone from California in the position, be nice to move it around.
Oh, that and I think everyone should contribute in some way. __________________ Cory Fillmore TLCA Western Individual Representative 99 UZJ 100 Series Wheels FOR SALE-CLICK HERE |

I agree w/ Cory. I't be nice to have someone from another western state. Cory's been active in TLCA for anumber of years. I support him for WIR.

Yes, there is still a WIR position open this fall. He just filled a seat left empty mid-term.

Yup, I still have intentions of running for the WIR spot this year. I also encourage others to run for the open positions and participate.

just putting it out there... EVP Bio:
In the interest of communication, here is a little note about myself and my interest in EVP.
I am serious about the position and advancing TLCA. Here is a chance to learn something about me for anyone who is interested. ![]() Biography: Jeffrey Dozier 11/02/07 I love backcountry adventure. This is where my life is really enriched either solo, with family, friends, or both. I am fond of my domestic and professional life as well but I absolutely love my time in the outdoors. Toyota 4WD’s enable me and this is why I made them a major part of my life and continue to do so with passion. I was raised working on family farms in Kentucky, using implements off the road, gaining strength, knowledge of mechanics, and work ethic. Since I was exposed to the challenges of rough terrain in farming, I naturally enjoyed recreation of the same flavor, often taking a tractor, pick up, or motorbike on explorations; I was hooked at an early age. When I was eighteen years old, I traded my two wheel drive Jeep Comanche pick up truck to my cousin for his slightly wrecked but usable ’81 Toyota single cab long bed SR5 4WD pickup. This was the start of my passion as I learned the truck inside and out including how to drive off-road, harness its inherent off-road capability (which easily exceeded mine), the do’s and don’ts of treading lightly, all the while exploring the richly diverse Daniel Boone National Forest. I deeply entrenched backcountry adventure into my soul during these years with my friends and family. As my love for adventure grew, so did my hobbies and skills which include mountain biking, white water paddling, hiking, ornithology, as well as many others. I not only grew my hobbies in addition to backcountry travel, I grew my experiences with four wheel drive Toyotas. My past vehicles in order of acquisition are as follows: ’81 Toyota Pickup LWB, ’85 FJ-60, ’79 FJ-40, ’60 FJ-25, ’84 4Runner Turbo, two 85’ 4runners, ’73 FJ-55, currently I own a ’67 FJ-45 LWB, ’87 HJ-60 (born FJ), ’85 SWB pickup. I love all my trucks, past and present. I respect the various philosophies on cruiser enthusiasm and really enjoy fellow enthusiast’s viewpoints and knowledge. I learn something new daily as a result of my cruiser community, of which I am thankful. Some accomplishments: I earned a degree in Anthropology from the University of Kentucky, completed field work and graduate credits in southern Province Zambia while making use of my Toyota knowledge living in the back country for over four months. I spent four months on the Appalachian Trail hiking and learning myself. I drove from Belize in Central America to the Midwest along with my late friend in his 60 series. I successfully managed over one hundred employees for three years while working as Distribution Manager of Operations for a large pharmaceutical company. I am a dedicated person who is fully reliable and engaged with my responsibilities. I am happily married to my wife of three years, we have one incredible daughter, and I presently stay home with her while my wife completes her emergency medicine residency. I have been a TLCA member for eight years and our relationship is reciprocal. It provides me with an outlet for my passion of Toyota 4X4’s, great people, awesome magazine, and memorable events. In return, I have written and published four articles in Toyota Trails with the first one in 2002 and the most recent in 2006. I have attended GSMTR and CMC, helped organized the unofficial but “official” east coast Pig Run for the last five years along with other pig enthusiasts, and most recently began the Appalachian Land Cruiser Association of eastern PA. We have over twenty members, T-shirts and stickers, and more than a half dozen trail-rides/potluck meals each year. This fledgling group is my own project, in support of TLCA, and hopefully it will go for chapter status in the future. I am dedicated to TLCA and possess a wide variety of skills I hope to apply to support and development our reciprocal relationship. I am running for EVP because I am dedicated to TLCA in all its diversity of interests including events, off-road adventure, land use, restorations, expeditions, and others. I feel qualified to fully engage the responsibilities and advance the organization with hard work, strong networking, communication, and enthusiasm. Thanks for the consideration. __________________ Jeffrey Save Tellico! Jeff is a Toyota guy to the core. He is a great resource for our club, smart fella and easy on the eyes. But I digress. Anyone who types that much for an online resume is either very qualified or a crack head. Either way give him a shot.
