Logo Design

We are a new TLCA club and are looking for some assistance in designing our logo. Anyone know of anyone that does this sort of work that would be interested in assisting us?

If so, please PM me.

Thanks,
Art Schramm

Welcome to TLCA and congats on being one the newest chapters

On the Mud board try Bodean, Hulk, Cruiserfetish.com.... there's a bunch. I have more names at home of folks that volunteered to do artwork for TLCA shirt designs. I'd bet most would be happy to do the logo and shirts.

Logo....

I'm NO professional (in many regards) but just throwing around some things. I did yellow b/c of corn and some college colors..

I have no idea what you want but have a bit of advice for you as we've been going through the same thing. First, you've probably already done this.. but look in the Toyota trails to see what everyone else has. Next, some may disagree, but what looks AWESOME on a computer screen... will be EXPENSIVE to put on a shirt, mug, sticker, hat, whatever. Keep it simple if you can. Then there's always the copyright thing...

Good luck to you and let me know if we can help.
Congrats again.

Scott

I'll put in my 2 cents. Keep it Simple. One or two colors max. Don't get into nitty gritty details as they will get lost in a lot of printing processes that you will want to use for shirts, stickers, etc....

OK, I had and idea. what about a Aisin Hub dial as the logo? People have used tires, states, compasses, outlines of rigs. I imagine your club has a variety of 4wd Toyotas. Other than the fulltime or ADD rigs they all have the hubs in common.

Seems like you have things pretty well covered here, but if you need something done with the logo, shoot it my way. I do this stuff for a living...really.

Question

I'll hijack this thread...

We're are in the same boat.

We recently started a soon to be official (meeting on 3/29) TLCA Chapter in the NW called South Sound Cruisers and are in dire need of logo assistance.

We are looking for a round logo or one that will fit as a round with Mt. Rainier in the background a FJ Cruiser in the foreground a FJ 40 in the background crossing a rocky stream (Tread Lightly today) both at opposite 45 degree angles to each other with a tree on one side and maybe a salmon jumping in the stream on the other side we're open to ideas… The title South Sound Cruisers should be on the outside edge of the logo.

We would like to see both cruisers heavily modified: large aggressive tires, lift, ARB style front bumper, etc. If color is involved would like to see the FJ40 be the old school blue and the FJC Black Cherry.

Thanks in advance for any assistance or guidance!
Brian
