So when will I meet the TLCA honchos?!

Just got back from the Rubicon Marlin Crawler run and met Tony Twiddy at Buck Island. Met Chris Hatfield and Jeff Zepp at Cruise Moab (and Romer, Ige, CruiserDan etc). Turns out Todd Kaderabek was on the same run as me on the Hell's Revenge run, but somehow never actually got to meet him. Alan, Jennifer, etc etc--we need to meet sometime, somewhere, wheel, hoist bevs and talk Toyota!

Just an idea. We should have met up by now!! This is ridiculous! I or my editors are always at TLCA events and somehow I haven't met you.

Always love to meet TLCA members on the trail, too!

Looking forward to meeting you all in person sometime soon!

Cheers,

Dave

Hey Dave,

Most of the honchos will be at Flat Nasty in MO end of this month, September 28-30. If you cover that one you should meet them all!

You missed Todd at Rubithon, too. He travels incognito. I looked for him in your pics of the event.

We've spoken by phone. I'll be at Flat Nasty, and I'm planning on GGG too.

It'd be cool to meet and wheel with you, Brian! I've met Shannon of TTORA, the guys from YotaTech, etc. Met Algazy at the FJC intro, and recently, Ben ran into him on a special trail run event in California.

Kaderabek, next time you come to the west coast without a truck, call me, I'll loan you one Attending Cruise Moab and Rubithon without being at the wheel would drive me nuts!

Better idea: come on out for a special weekend run. That's actually a pretty cool idea. I know some places on private land owned by friends that would blow minds. Mud, rocks, sand, river crossings. Hmmm...or Flat Nasty or Pismo.

Life is good, let's wheel!

Dave

Should you come over to the Southern Cruiser Crawl you could also meet a few folks like Roger Theurer (SE Rep) Kowboy-Secr. of TLCA....just to name a few.

Not to mention you'll have one hell of a time...

I need to--it's on the list. Gotta wheel out there. Thanks for the heads up--I WILL do it sooner than later!

No word from my compatriot TK? I'm assuming he's seen this but for some reason refuses to say hello?

Off to Kentucky in the morning to do some wheeling and photo taking. See ya later!

Actually David... you simply need to let us know when you are present at our events. No one informed me you were at Rubithon... if I don't know, I can not be sure to say Howdy.

Nice meeting you in person.

So you are or are not planning on attending Flat Nasty? I know there will be a bunch of Board members there, the Board are delegates as well, not counting delegates .. I know the TLCA Prez, Secretary, EVP, AVP, Eastern Rep, Treas, and Marketing Sales along with many others..Delegates I don't know if I can count that high.. The Exec Board are planning on serving breakfast one morning of the event. If your planning on attending please let me know asap so I can adjust the dinner #'s and put you in touch with the registration folks.
thank you..
Erik.. TornadoAlleyCruisers President

Yeah, I was sad that you and Luke Porter were both on the Hell's Revenge run and I did not realize it until the run was over.

I hate that.

Come on down south to the Cruiser Crawl or the Lone Star Cruiser Roundup in the spring and we will catch up.

Nolen (Ex Honcho)

LOL! Just what I expected from Todd. Can't wait to meet you, too

Flat Nasty--want to, trying!! Oct 1 mag goes to layout, so usually it's very busy, and I'm just back from three intros in two weeks. Will be tough, but so what, it'll be worth it for the wheeling, meet and greet with everyone, and photos of the action so we can get the word out about the event and Tornado Alley Cruisers.

Damn it'll be fun! Let you know in 24 hours, hang on, thanks!

Dave

My # is easy to find. Second page of the Toyota Trails. If I don't answer please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I have service. My phone does not work in the office due to lead walls. I think the lead is to keep Superman from spying on me but they tell me it's for the xray machine.. Whatever..

Uh, I don't think its doing an especially good job holding out those x-rays... You better put on a tinfoil hat.

Sorry, a little longer than 24 hours. I will NOT be able to make it in person, I sincerely regret to say. One week till layout and too much on the burners. THANK YOU for the invite. I appreciate it very much.

Of course, we'd love to get the word out about the event, the club, TLCA sanction, etc. Send over some photos and words and we'll add our voice to helping the sport and the TLCA reach even more of an audience.

Cheers,
