master list of members

is there a master list of members. One that is available to those not associated with a tlca club but who are tlca members. Sorted by state would be nice, or possibly a special TT issue listing all the current members.

for those not in a club or living anywhere near a club, how in the world would you find out where and who the nearest TLCA members is/are?

perhaps it would be better to provide a small business card with all three reps contact info listed.
i suspect some people would just not be comfortable having that info just randomly floating around. being able to hand out a small card with rep contact info would allow an initial contact point, then the rep would be able to direct the inquiring mind in the right direction.
better than just throwing peoples info out there, especially without the consent of said people.
other than that, if they are already members, trails lists contact info for all officers, admin, reps. also, there is a club listing in trails, with a contact person listed for each club. so any current member of the club, already has a pretty good list of people to contact.

TLCA has not published a "blanket list" of all the members, and I wouldn't expect them to for privacy reasons.

Finding "local" Cruiserheads is as simple as a post in ChitChat looking, or working with one of the many clubs who have Clubhouses.

If you and other local cruiserheads are working towards creating a new TLCA chapter, they have provided regional lists in the past...unsure if that's still available or not. I did that about 6-7 years back and just did a short intro letter that I mailed out...but honestly, the userbase here is MUCH larger, since it emcompasses many TLCA regulars and TLCA-wannabe's as well

so the clubs get a master list of tlca members, or they compile their own list? I just have never been a member of a club that I did not know any other members. I am not counting this internet site.

If the info is that top secret, at least the tlca could publish a number of members per state. How about a list by state, town, and number of members in each town.

something like:

NJ, Trenton, 3
NJ, Newark, 5
NJ, Princeton, 2

Not really looking for a names and addresses, it would be nice to know if there are 2 or 200 TLCA members in my state.

you'd have to ask jen, alan, or todd about the feasability of something like that.
are you a T.L.C.A member, or just contemplating? the reps info is listed on the T.L.C.A website. if this is for you, go there, find the eastern rep, and give him a call. he'll direct you to some folks in your neck of the woods, and you're off and running. simple as that. in fact, here ya go:
Eastern Representative: Roger Theurer,
931-841-0672, EasternRep@tlca.org

all of these are listed at www.tlca.org. (which has a banner at the top of this page for quick, and easy, reference.)
hope that helps!!
as far as being top secret info, in this day of id theft, it kinda has to be. that's why we've got the reps. they'll take good care of ya, and get you where you wanna go.

What state are you in? I could tell you the number of members in that state. Shoot me a PM.

Typically TLCA does not furnish much in the way of information about our membership. A new chapter is typically given a list of names of local to them TLCA members to aide in the formation of their chapter. But other than that, nobody gets a complete list. As you can imagine what would happen if this was public information.

this is a matter that was debated on the tlca board list and most of us agreed that for privacy reasons, the member roster would not be provided to the public. some people just don't want to be contacted by other cruiserheads nor do they want their info spread around.
you can request a bunch of contact cards from your rep to leave on cruisers that you see while drivings

If you're in L.A. (La la land??), there are certainly clubs to hook up with. Let us know where you're at, so we can point you in the right direction.

For any individual member, hoping to find others, contact the Independant Rep for your area. The IR's are listed in each and every Toyota Trails.

He was answered. There is a list, and Membership Admin maintains it. If any individual members would like to get in contact with others, we ask that you contact the Individual Reps for that state.

For example, If someone in Oregon was looking for other members, they would contact me. In this case, he contact Jenn (membership) and Roger (Eastern Rep).

We won't provide the contact info, but we will forward information along.
