I installed this setup last weekend, so I thought I'd post up some pics for you all. The last things I'm not sure how to work out are: 1) Bringing the coax cable from the antenna into the truck without going over the rubber hatch, and 2) working out a clean looking detachable mount for the faceplate.

For the faceplate I've got a couple matt black hinges I might try, or I may just go with velcro...not sure.

For the coax, is there a way to rig up a quick disconnect on coax?

Looks nice, I'm not aware of a quick disconnect for coax but it might exist.

I have been looking at similar yaesu's but I can't get over the red display.

I would have actually placed it behind the steering (kinda in front of the gauges)wheel but since you're not using that slot, it's a nice place for it!

nice volleyball. mine's about worn out from last season.
