What's the width of a hi-lift with the base removed? (1 Viewer)

i'm looking at storage options and thinking maybe it would fit reasonably on the inner rear fender of my bj46. Length I'd good to go but width?

Here's my spot. I know it's not going to totally fit under the rail but maybe enough so that it wouldn't matter.

Hi all,

Pete, the bar itself is like one inch wide by 3 inches tall by 48 or 60 inches long. The HiLift mechanism is far bulkier (but could be carried separately from the bar.) The mechanism is (from memory! ) like 5 by 4 by 12 inches?!?

I'd go measure it, but mine is stuffed behind the front seat of my trail rig.

Carrying it separately may be the way to go.

About 10" at it's widest. That includes mechanism, jack and handle.
