Who at Toyota do you file a complaint with? the dealer is in the south east. The complaint is in reference to fraud. I know there is the local court system, I don't want to go that route yet.... I would like to hear Toyota's response.

Toyota customer service was actually pretty helpful when I called them.

Sorry to hear that. I have an excellent dealer in the upstate of SC if you need parts - service would probably be too far for you.

Call a dealership (not necessarily the one you have the beef with) and ask for contact information for the District Manager.

There is a dealership here locally that told one of my employees that if he didn't buy the FJ Cruiser from him he'd "probably just kill myself". My employee called the District Manager who was completely incredulous, and promised that he'd get a call within 48 hours from the owner of the dealership for a personal apology. It happened. And the owner of the dealership offered that when the TRD FJC that he was driving as a demo was turned it- he'd call Dave first. Dave told them he'd probably not ever do business with them ever again, and the owner said " I can't say I blame you, I'm sorry that was your experience with us".

The regional manager suggested that if there were too many complaints about a dealership that weren't handled satisfactorily, Toyota could, in extreme cases, pull the dealership from them.

pointless to go to Toyota or any other manufacturer, especially pointless in the SE where Jim Moran has the distribution agreement.

If your state has some kind of dealer board, it's slightly less of a waste of time

If you have a good fraud claim, sue em.

I has to look Jim Moran up. According to the internet, he is dead.

and x2 on the board. I saw a state licensing board certificate on the wall at the dealer. I am going to contact them after I hear back from the DMV.

I have a feeling they didn't honor the 25 dollar oil changed coupon for his land cruiser. He's just pissed that he didn't read the fine print that limited it to 4 quarts.
