Soooo..........my poor old CJ-7 has finally died from fatal rust. On to a new to me TJ! I plan to transplant the 401/tf999/dana300 into the TJ but the TJ front axle has the pinion on the wrong side. From reading the forums, the Dana35 seems to be able to stand up to V8 power with a few upgrades but I would rather have something a bit more substantial. Anyone have any ideas on another diff I could transplant? Short of that has anyone ever cut the axle tubes loose from a Dana35 and swapped them around?
