Hey everyone, i am thinking of ditching my Weber for the stock carb for my 1971 40 with a stock F motor. Anyone know of a good shop in Reno/Sparks that would do a good job? I am also thinking Mark's Offroad, but would prefer to keep it local.

Thanks for any help

No real shops locally that do anything Land Cruiser. Best best would probably be Mark's or maybe try Georg at Valley Hybrid (@orangefj45 on here) to see if he can do anything. He is located in Stockton.

Thanks gregnash. I'll loik up Georg.

Rusty_tlc, I don't really know. It's running like crap with the Weber and it's seems like most people recommend the stock carb or Trollholes. Do you run a Weber?

baseline it first, compression, ignition then carb.. too many people chase carb problems when its ignition..

(I wont admit it, but spent 2 days rebuilding a carb and trying to get a sbc to run right- was a bad ground for the distributor-5 min fix.. )

good luck.. webers are good if not wore out..
