Some play in steering column (1 Viewer)

HI There

Have a 1999 LC 100 with 137 k miles on it. Recently Motor on steering column stopped working.
RepLced the up and down motor.

However after all was assembled by a good electrician I do notice some play if I hold the steering and move it up/down

Is this normal ?

Wha to look into ?
