I am confused here. &nbsp:Does that 3/16" roll pin actually drive the transfer case imput gear? I understand that the imput shaft on the SM420 is short but how exactly is that corrected for? It is a longer bearing and a bushing on its OD to make it fit into the F crank?
Thanks
Pablo

I've done 3 SM420 conversions in the last 2 years and have never used any kind of roll pin.

Are you talking about the locking pin for the tcase input gear? That roll pin thru the 2 washers just locks the washers to the input shaft,by going in between the splines.
