When I go into reverse my reverse lights dim. I am sure that having four 50 watt replacement bulbs is causing this. I'd like to add a relay to solve this. The question is how would I wire it up. Thanks

simple get a standard 30a 12v relay (radio shack, auto parts store) take the switched 12v out of the reverse switch (red light blue wire) connect to the coil of the relay. take the other side of the relay coil to ground. find a good source of power run through the normaly open contacts of the relay to your back up lights.
