Can anyone tell me if the rear jump seats out of an 82 FJ40 will bolt directly into a 77 FJ40? The only difference I can see is the flip out leg underneath the seat on the 82 model? Wondering if the bolt patterns are the same, I don't want to do any cobbling?

    Thanks, Matt

They should be the same. From my observations all short jump seats fit all years that had short jump seats.

9/73 to 83 is the same, though the late model seats have a swing down leg that supports the seat better then the earlier short style seats. Also the color isn't a match. Early short seats are silver frames with black vinyl, late model short seats are all grey.
